Animals

While taking pictures of animals i found most in jasper park but due to the trucks hauling stuff through the park it was very difficult to stop and get a picture.

With bears coming out of there hibernation they are traveling farther into cites and closer to people actually becoming a danger and will be aggressive. Deer are also at the part of the season when they start growing there new coats and look a little bad.

Landscape

The landscape i choose to do was the mountains between Jasper and Banff. Taking pictures alone this stretch of road was pretty difficult due to the very white light and speed of a moving vehicle i was trying to get pictures out of.

The mountains when traveling through the park looked very bairn and secluded. nothing in sight just tall trees and snow.

The rock forms gave me some really cool content but i had to take a few stops to actually get the pictures because moving vehicles are not good for taking pictures out of.

Colored Lighting

With colored lighting it was difficult to get them to how i wanted. Instead of using a colored filters using colored light makes the color intensity better.

While taking the Helaina and Tristin i used the red as a back light with a little light on the face to add a dramatic effect. The green light was used to make it give the effect that there is something there to look at and the green color also adds a cooler light to the picture that i like.

The final picture of Justin he happens to where a yellow hoodie which i thought would work well with the yellow light i wanted to use for his picture. The yellow light adds a nice warm effect while i use the red light to give a darker light to the background.

Water droplets

I found this type of photography very difficult and hard to get good at. My pictures didn’t turn out as good as the ones i were viewing online and saw in tutorials about this style.

With taking these pictures i used the macro lens and with it being the first i had used one of those lens it was very hard to focus but really cool to look through and try focusing with.

Portraits

The specific kind of pictures i took and used for portraits are using the snow to highlight the color of the persons clothes and sometimes adding a tree into contrast the snow.

These photos turned out extremely white when using the snow as a background so the trees a a light contrast to the picture to brake it up a little.

I don’t know if this is a preferred photography style ill use in the future but it is one i kind like and found was a little difficult to do when to bright out because of the snow.

Close up Mugs

With my idea of close up mugshots is that you really wanna capture the feeling they are experiencing , the people who i’m taking pictures of find the experience unpleasant and they felt there space violated.

When getting them to pose for my pictures i used a white background and tried to use an area with better lighting to highlight the features and depth of facial features.

A specific idea i found for this is to tell the person to keep a straight face so that they look like they are having a mug shot taken. As well as they already want to die so they have that look of soul less.

Leading Lines

The leading line is the following of lines to a subject and i found this a very easy strategy. I also found that you need to have the lines being noticeable or your picture doesn’t portray the same image

With leading lines there are lines that are able to be captured everywhere in your environment and they can even be captured by accident line the ones i got in roof of the second figure

“Stalking”

What I’m trying to depict isn’t really stalking but a perspective behind the photographer taking there photos and capturing a almost 3rd person perspective

To capture someone focusing on there target and taking the picture they are trying to get. To capture a picture of some and have them not notice your presences is key to getting the intense focus being portrayed by the other photographer

When “stalking” either the photographer or the model could be the one your focusing on, its more about capturing what the photographer is doing or how the model looks when posing for a shot.

Monochrome

The effects of monochrome photography is very much capturing just the emotions and expressions of the model. Which for me ended in very dressing pictures 9/10 times

The greatness and seriousness of monochrome is pure awesome. only problem/positive aspect is everything looking so depressing and spooky

Sports

Sports are not the easiest thing to take pictures of if your not experience in the field. The important components and techniques of sports photography is the ability to get still frame of the motion the player is doing and being able to capture the emotions of game and players.

When taking pictures inside a gym, the lighting has a slight yellow tinge and that can be touched up by making the picture a little darker or playing with the white balance i found. these also make a problem for when you need to edit a picture to remove the yellow

When taking pictures of a sport like football its important not to distract the viewer with to much going on and limit players focused on in the pictures
